The Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA Gandhinagar) is envisioned as a dynamic and evolving cultural space dedicated to contemporary artistic practices and creative exchange. Conceived as a dream project by our trustee, Smt. Deepshikha Choudhary, the museum aims to create a living platform for artists where art is not only displayed, but continuously created, experienced, and shared.
Located near the historic Jain Temple at Mahudi and in close proximity to Gandhinagar, the capital of Gujarat, MOCA Gandhinagar is thoughtfully positioned within a culturally significant landscape. The museum brings together artists, curators, and audiences from across India and around the world, encouraging dialogue, experimentation, and collaboration.
With a focus on living artists, MOCA provides opportunities for creators to explore their practice in an open and engaging environment. Through exhibitions, residencies, workshops, and public programs, the institution aspires to become a vibrant centre for contemporary art bridging local narratives with global perspectives.
